Editing with AI Blog

In January 2024, I took Erin Servais’s AI for Editors introductory course. I was amazed at what AI could do and had so many questions. Was this real? Was AI accurate? (You know the answer to that one!) How could it help my editorial workflow? Could I use it ethically?

I decided to continue learning about AI through other webinars, courses (including Erin’s AI for Editors advanced course), conversations with other editors, and my own experimentation. I created this blog to share what I’ve learned with you.

Whether we like it or not, AI is here to stay. I believe the best approach is to learn how to use this powerful tool effectively so we can demonstrate to our clients that we’re not just skilled editors but editors who know how to integrate technology to enhance our work. Happy reading!
